DeFuniak Springs, Fla— The Walton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide after a man is stabbed inside his DeFuniak Springs home. 
Just before midnight Friday night WCSO received a call from a woman claiming her boyfriend had been stabbed during an altercation. Deputies responded to 5530 State Highway 83 North and found a man with injuries from stab wounds and tried to resuscitate him unsuccessfully.
Walton County Sheriff’s Office Investigators were called to the scene and taped off the area. A person of interest is in custody and is being interviewed at this time. The investigation is ongoing and when more details are available they will be released to the public.
