WALTON COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER RECEIVES DONATION OF MEDICAL SUPPLIES FROM HEALTHMARK

DeFuniak Springs, Fla— A local hospital assists the Walton County Animal Shelter in their mission to care for our counties homeless animals.

The Walton County Animal Shelter, located in DeFuniak Springs, Florida, is managed by the Walton County Sheriff’s Office. As an open-admission shelter, the Walton County Animal Shelter’s mission is to enhance the lives of the animals and people in our community by advocating adoption through education, awareness, and compassion.

Last week Healthmark Regional and Home Health made a donation of medical supplies to the Walton County Animal Shelter.

“It is our pleasure to partner with the animal shelter and to assist in such a worthy cause,” said Rebeca Scott, Director of Nursing for Healthmark.
