REORGANIZATION OF THE WALTON COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD, and reorganization of the Walton County Public Education Finance Authority was held the evening of Nov. 22, 2016. A new chair and vice chair were elected. It was also Russell Hughes' first meeting as the new Superintendent for the district and Marsha Winegarner’s first meeting as a school board member.
