FOUR YEAR OLD JESSI PIERCE of Navarre recently attended a doggy party for Alexandra Chandler held in Niceville. The event was intended to raise funds for the Walton County Animal Shelter. Pierce was the first person to adopt a stuffed animal and therefore the first to receive an adoption certificate. Guests also brought bags of dog food for the shelter. (Photo by Lanna Williams)

 

THE FHS cheerleaders lead the student body in a cheer. On Aug. 7 Freeport High School (FHS) held its annual new student orientation. The FHS Passionate About Creating Kindness, PACK, leaders were assigned to a group of incoming freshmen whom they will mentor throughout the year.
