FREEPORT UNITED METHODIST CHURCH members Jo Yancey (l) and Lynn Schaffer work to collect their previous pastor, Charles Satterwhite, a mess of turnip greens. The duo are working in the organization's community garden which was the brainchild of current pastor Wesely Syfrett. "You can tell by what is going on inside of someone by what is growing outside," said Schaffer. The garden is located on Bay Loop Road in Freeport and everyone is invited to pick themselves a meal. "We want everyone to come out and join us in the bounty of the Lord," said Yancey.
