RYAN THOMAS IS SHOWN with his kidney donor, Terri Thomas, two weeks post-op. Ryan, a Paxton resident, received a new lease on life when he underwent a kidney transplant on April 5. Doctors say that Ryan is above the curve and doing better than most transplant patients. There is no cure for kidney disease and a transplant is a treatment; however, Ryan is expected to resume a normal life.
