LIVE OAK TREE was planted in honor of Wallace Bruce by Bruce family
A LIVE OAK TREE was planted in honor of Wallace Bruce by Bruce family members. The DeFuniak Springs lakeside was a busy place over the weekend as the Florida Chautauqua Association held its 2017 Florida Chautauqua Assembly. On Friday afternoon members of the Wallace Bruce family were on hand to help plant a tree in their ancestor’s honor. The tree was also meant to honor Arbor Day. (Photo by Jeffrey Powell)
