The Walton County Board of County Commissioners will hold a Special Workshop on August 11, 2015 at 3:00 PM at the South Walton Annex Courthouse located at 31 Coastal Centre Boulevard, Santa Rosa Beach, FL.
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss a Legislative Item: Stormwater Management Policies Ð An Ordinance amending Chapter 5 to the Walton County Land Development Code, adding a minimum finish floor elevation requirement; adding a requirement for stormwater management on lots of record with no stormwater management system in place; revising stormwater performance and design standards in the Land Development Code for consistency with the Walton County Comprehensive Plan.
This Workshop will be held prior to the second Public Hearing to consider adopting the proposed Ordinance.
