SETTING FORTH SOCIAL MEDIA
POLICIES AND PROCEDURES IN THE
WALTON COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT
The School Board of Walton County, Florida, hereby gives notice of its intent to adopt the proposed rule setting forth Social Media policies and procedures governing the pedagogical usage of social media outlets in the Walton County School District, pursuant to the procedures set forth in the Administrative Procedures Act.
PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose and effect of the adoption of the proposed rule is to set forth the rights and responsibilities of approved users as pertains to the usage of social media outlets.
SUMMARY: Policies and procedures for the appropriate usage of social media outlets in the Walton County School District will provide a framework for evaluating and maintaining a consistent pedagogical purpose within the schools.
LEGAL AUTHORITY: The adoption of the proposed rule is authorized by Sections 1001.41, 1001.42, 1001.43, and 1006.09, Florida Statutes.
ECONOMIC IMPACT: The adoption of the proposed rule will not result in any additional costs to the School District.
A public hearing will be held by the School Board of Walton County, Florida, at
5:00 o’clock p.m. during the board meeting on May 22, 2012, in the Board Room at the Tivoli Administrative Complex, 145 Park Street, DeFuniak Springs, Florida, for the purpose of considering adoption of the proposed rule setting forth Social Media policies and procedures for the pedagogical use of social media. Any person may appear at the hearing and present evidence and argument and be heard concerning the adoption of the proposed rule. Immediately following the public hearing, the School Board of Walton County, Florida will consider final action to adopt the proposed rule.
The entire text of the proposed rule is on file and available for inspection during regular office hours at the office of the Superintendent of Schools, Walton County, Florida, which office is located at 145 Park Street, Suite 2, DeFuniak Springs, Florida.
Copies of the proposed rule are available to the public at the Superintendent’s office.
If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the School Board with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, such person will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose, such person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
The School Board of Walton County does not discriminate upon the basis of any individual’s disability status. PERSONAL PROPERTY DESCRIPTION
1. All of the buildings and improvements now or hereafter located on the Land and all right, title and interest of NEW ORCHARD GROUP, LLC (“Mortgagor”) in and to any utility lines and/or improvements located on the Land or in which Mortgagor has any interest in connection with the Land, and all right, title and interest of the Mortgagor in and to the streets and roads abutting the Land to the center lines thereof, and strips and gores within or adjoining the Land, the air space and right to use said air space above the Land, all rights of ingress and egress by motor vehicles to parking facilities on or within the Land, all easements affecting, or inuring to the benefit of the owner of the Land, including, without limitation, the Mortgagor’s rights under any easement and related agreements and royalties and all rights appertaining to the use and enjoyment of the Land, including, without limitation, alley, vault, drainage, mineral, water, oil and gas rights, together with any and all other rights, privileges and interests appurtenant thereto (collectively, the “Premises”).
2. All fixtures and articles of personal property and all appurtenances and additions thereto and substitutions or replacements thereof, attached to, contained in, or used in connection with the Premises (though not attached thereto) or placed in any part thereof (collectively, the “Equipment”), (exclusive of any articles of personal property owned by any tenants occupying the Premises) including, but not limited to, all screens, awnings, shades, blinds, curtains, draperies, carpets, rugs, furniture and furnishings, heating, electrical, mechanical, lighting, plumbing, ventilating, air conditioning, refrigerating, incinerating and elevator equipment and systems, stoves, ranges, vacuum cleaning systems, call systems, sprinkler systems and other fire prevention and extinguishing apparatus and materials, motors, machinery, pipes, appliances, equipment, fittings and fixtures, and the trade name, goodwill and books and records relating to the business operated on the Premises. Without limiting the foregoing, all “equipment” and “general intangibles” (as said quoted terms are deemed in the Uniform Commercial Code of the State of Florida) located at the Premises and all of the rights and remedies of a “secured party” under the said Uniform Commercial Code.
3. All leases, lettings, rental agreements, use agreements, occupancy agreements and licenses, if any of the Premises or any portion thereof (collectively, the “Leases”) and all right, title and interest of the Mortgagor thereunder, including, without limitation, the rights of the Mortgagor, as lessor, in respect of cash, promissory notes and securities deposited thereunder and the right to receive and collect the rents, issues and profits thereof and any other sums payable thereunder (the “Rents”).
4. All unearned premiums, accrued, accruing or to accrue under insurance policies now or hereafter obtained, or caused to be obtained, by the Mortgagor and the Mortgagor’s interest in and to all proceeds of the conversion, voluntary of involuntary, of the Mortgaged Property or any part thereof into cash or liquidated claims, including, without limitation, proceeds of casualty insurance, title insurance or any other insurance maintained on the Premises and the Equipment or any part of either thereof, and all awards and/or other compensation (collectively “Awards”) heretofore and hereafter made to the present and all subsequent owners of the Premises and the Equipment or any part of either thereof by any governmental or other lawful authorities for the taking by eminent domain, condemnation or otherwise, of all or any part of the Mortgaged Property or any easement or other right therein, including Awards for any change of grade of streets.
5. All extensions, improvements, betterments, substitutes and replacements of, and all additions and appurtenances to, the Premises and the Equipment, hereafter acquired by or released to the Mortgagor or constructed, assembled or placed on the Premises, and all conversions of the security constituted thereby, immediately upon such acquisition, release, construction, assembling, placement or conversion, as the case may be.
Said sale will be made pursuant to and in order to satisfy the terms of said Final Judgment of Foreclosure and Order Rescheduling Foreclosure Sale.
Any person claiming an interest in the surplus from the sale, if any, other than the property owner as of the date of the lis pendens must file a claim within 60 days after the sale.
