Mining Ordinance – An Ordinance amending Section 11.06.01 and adding Section 11.06.07 to the Walton County Land Development Code, adding definitions; establishing permit application requirements, permit conditions and construction conditions for temporary Small Scale Mineral Extraction and excess materials from pond construction; providing for conflict; severability; codification and an effective date.
Limited Lodging Ordinance – An Ordinance amending Sections 2.01.03.M.1, 2.01.02.N.8.b (vi) bb, 2.01.02.N.8.c.vi (g)1, and 2.01.04.B of the Walton County Land Development Code to increase the maximum number of rooms allowed as Limited Lodging from 75 rooms to 125 rooms to be consistent with Walton County Comprehensive Plan Glossary Definition changed in the EAR Amendment effective 3/1/2011; providing for severability and an effective date.
US 98/331 Scenic Corridor Outdoor Display Ordinance – An ordinance amending Chapter 13.03.00 to allow for limited unscreened outdoor display of merchandise adjacent to building facades; providing for providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.
Land Clearing Activities within Coastal Dune Lake Protection Zone Ordinance – An ordinance amending Sections 4.02.06(B), 4.03.03(C) and adding Section 11.04.04 of the Walton County Land Development Code establishing a review process and criteria for land clearing activities where any portion of a parcel is located within the Coastal Dune Lake Protection Zone.
