Pursuant to Section 120.54, Florida Statutes, notice is hereby given that the School Board of Walton County, Florida, to intends to revise and amend two existing School Board Rules/Policies dealing with the following subject areas:
Policy 3.80 School Volunteers
Policy 6.914 Use of Sick Leave by Family Members or Employees
The purpose and effect of the amendment of the existing Rules/Policies is to ensure that the School Board Rules/Policies are updated to comply with changes in state law.
A public hearing will be held by the School Board of Walton County, Florida, at 5:15 P.M. during its regular board meeting on January 6, 2015, in the School Board Meeting Room, Tivoli Administrative Complex, 145 Park Street, DeFuniak Springs, Florida, for the purpose of considering adoption of the proposed revised Rules/Policies. Any interested person may appear at the hearing and be heard concerning the adoption of the revision to existing Rules/Policies. Immediately following the public hearing, the School Board of Walton County, Florida, proposes to consider final action to adopt the revised Rules/Policies.
These revised Rules/Policies are to be adopted under the provisions and authority of Florida Statutes, Sections 1001.32, 1001.41, 1001.42, 1001.43, and Florida State Board of Education Rules.
The proposed revised Rules/Policies may result in additional costs associated with implementation, but no statement of estimated regulatory costs has been prepared.

The project is located on East CR 30A north of Williams Street and is identified by parcel number(s) 24-3S-19-25030-000-0021.
The Regal at Seagrove – Project number 14-00100199 is being reviewed by Tim Brown. This is a major development order application submitted by Innerlight Engineering Corporation, requesting the approval to construct a 31 unit residential condominium building and associated infrastructure on 3.92 acres with a future land use of Neighborhood Infill. The project is located 1.0 mile east of the C.R. 395 and C.R. 30A intersection, on the south side of C.R. 30A and is identified by parcel number(s) 23-3S-19-25000-010-0000.
The Planning Commission will make a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners regarding these items either to approve, approve with conditions or to deny. Any agenda item that is tabled will be scheduled for a future Planning Commission meeting and will not go forward to the Board of County Commissioners until the Planning Commission makes a recommendation.
