It is the responsibility of the Bidder to schedule location visits with each school principal. Failure to inspect each site will result in disqualification of Bidder.

11. Bid shall be based on prices as indicated on the Proposal Form. Bid pricing, contractor qualifications, past performance, and other factors detailed in the project manual will be considered in awarding contracts.

12. Before a bid is considered for award, the Bidder may be requested by the Owner to submit additional statements regarding his previous experience in performing comparable work, his business and technical organization, financial resources and plant available to be used in performing the work.

13. Project Description:

The project encompasses testing, certification, maintenance, repair and new construction of fire alarm systems in all facilities of the Walton County School District. The project also encompasses maintenance, repair and new construction of Intercom/PA systems in all facilities of the Walton County School District.

LIMITED OUTDOOR ENTERTAINMENT APPEAL Ð This is an administrative appeal submitted by Bill Brakebill, appealing the Planning and Development Services Director’s Administrative Interpretation dated October 1, 2013 relating to ÒLimited Outdoor EntertainmentÓ specifically as it applies to the Walton County Land Development Code 2.01.02 Land use Districts; 2.01.3 Allowable Uses Section N. Mixed Use Centers(MU) 4b. Village Mixed Use Centers (vi) (cc) Òrestaurants with limited outdoor entertainmentÓ.

The Zoning Board of Adjustment will make a final determination to grant a variance, deny a variance, uphold the director’s decision, overturn the director’s decision, or continue to a later date. The Walton County Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at 9:00 a.m. or as soon thereafter as may be heard at the Walton County Courthouse, at 571 US Highway 90, DeFuniak Springs, Florida. The following items will be heard:

QUASI-JUDICIAL ITEMS:

EcoLead Homes LLC, Petition for Abandonment – Project number 13-00800001 is being reviewed by Tim Whaler. This is a petition for abandonment application submitted by Ketchersid & Cranford Esq, consisting of 0.112 acres with a future land use of Coastal Center. The project is located on the south side of U.S. Hwy. 98 East and is identified by parcel number(s) 34-2s-21-42000-049-0000.

La Terraza Re-Plat – Project number 13-00300015 is being reviewed by Brian Underwood. This is a plat application submitted by ECM, Inc. consisting of twelve multi-family units, on 0.84 acres, with a future land use of Coastal Center. Proposed project(s) or plan amendment(s) may be inspected by the public from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday at Walton County Planning and Development Services located at 31 Coastal Center Blvd, Suite 100, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32549 or 47 North 6th Street, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435.

Interested parties may appear at the public hearing and be heard with respect to the proposed project(s) or plan amendment(s).
