Architectural/Engineering Design Services for Classroom Additions & Master Planning at 

South Walton High School with the Walton County School District

The Walton County School District, Facilities Department, will receive and consider proposals from prospective Architectural Design firms for planning, development, and design of Classroom Additions & Campus Master Planning.  The firm will work with the Facilities Department and Construction Management Firm under guidance of the School Board of Walton County, Florida.  The selected firm shall provide the School Board with the master plan with the potential for site expansion in the future. The proposed project is located at South Walton High School, 645 Greenway Trail, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459.

All Architectural proposals should include a letter of intent, stating qualifications on Standard Form – 330 and limited to fifty (50) pages total.  Applicants should list educational related projects with emphasis on K12 design that fall under the jurisdiction of the Florida Department of Education, Office of Educational Facilities.  Firms should show any experience of working on an occupied campus – (i.e., additions, renovations or demolitions)

Additionally:

•May provide certification or experience with Florida Department of Education, SREF

•Shall provide Florida Public Entity Crime Statement (287.133, F.S.)

•Shall be compliant with provisions of the Jessica Lunsford Act (1012.465, F.S.)

Applicants shall provide the School District eight (8) hard copies of their proposals, plus one (1) electronic copy on or before 2:00 P.M. CST, Thursday, February 2, 2017.  Firms are notified that there should be no contact with any School Board member beyond this date. Doing so could constitute a disqualification of their submittal package.

The City of DeFuniak Springs will be accepting sealed bids for (22) Motorola Mototrbo XPR7550e portable radios for the Office of the City Marshal, DeFuniak Springs Police Department.  Bids will be accepted at City Hall located at 71 U.S. Hwy. 90 West, P.O. Box 685, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32433 until 2:00 p.m. CST Wednesday, February 15, 2017.   Bids will be opened in the City Hall Council Chambers located at 71 U.S. Hwy 90 West, DeFuniak Springs, FL at the above time and date.  Bids shall be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope, “Sealed Bid – Motorola Mototrbo Portable Radios.”  Any bids received after 2:00 p.m. CST on the above date will not be accepted and will be returned unopened to the bidder.
