John Fowler Variance – Project number 15-00500010 is being reviewed by Vivian Shamel.  This is a variance application submitted by John Fowler requesting his rear setback be changed from 15′ to 2′ and his side setback be changed from 7.5′ to 1′, on +/- .258 acres with a future land use of Residential Preservation.  This project is located on the west side of Loon Lake Drive at 120 Loon Lake Drive, approximately 568 feet south of the West Co. Thomas Variance – Project number 15-00500012 is being reviewed by Vivian Shamel.  This is a variance application submitted by Ben Thomas requesting his west side setback be changed from 7.5′ to 6.5′, on +/- 0.24 acres with a future land use of Small Neighborhood.  This project is located on Loon Lake Drive at 151 Botany Blvd, approximately .2 miles from the intersection of Goldsby Rd. and Botany Blvd., approximately 1.1 miles north of Highway 98 and is identified by parcel number 19-2S-20-33160-00A-0070.
The Zoning Board of Adjustment will make a final determination to grant a variance, deny a variance, uphold the director’s decision, overturn the director’s decision, or continue to a later date.  Any agenda item that is tabled will be scheduled for a future Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting.  The applicant/petitioner may appeal the decision of this board to the Circuit Court of Walton County.
