Architectural/Engineering Design Services for New Elementary School South with the
Walton County School District
The Walton County School District, Facilities Department, will receive and consider proposals from prospective Architectural Design firms for planning, development and design of New Elementary School South. The firm will work with the Facilities Department and Construction Management Firm under guidance of the School Board of Walton County Florida. The selected firm shall provide the School Board with the master plan with the potential for site expansion in the future. The proposed project is on a thirty-three (33) acre parcel of land in the Point Washington area of Walton County.
All Architectural proposals should include a letter of intent, stating qualifications on Standard Form – 330 and limited to fifty (50) pages total. Applicants should list educational related projects with emphasis on K12 design that fall under the jurisdiction of the Florida Department of Education, Office of Educational Facilities.
Additionally, applicants shall provide:
• Current certification of completion of the (SREF) advanced class, preferably within the past three years.
• Florida Public Entity Crime Statement (287.133, F.S.).
• Compliance with provisions of the Jessica Lunsford Act (1012.465, F.S.)
Applicants shall provide the School District eight (8) hard copies of their proposals, plus one (1) electronic copy on or before 2:00 P.M. CST, Thursday, February 25, 2016.
